About Me

A group of people in a hot air balloon basket, preparing for a flight, with the burner system overhead.

I’m drawn to the quiet, enduring beauty in ordinary places. Photography, for me, is an expression of attentiveness and appreciation rather than a vehicle for personal transformation. It’s a way to look carefully, to notice what’s already there, and to share that sense of calm with others.

Being from New Jersey, I’ve had the good fortune to spend time in a surprising range of landscapes, Atlantic coastlines, pine forests and wetlands, river valleys, and ridge trails. Those places taught me to notice subtle shifts in light, weather, and mood. My work explores how landscapes shape perspective—how the character of a place reveals itself through patience and attention.

Travel has gradually broadened that way of seeing. From the Northeast to the deserts of the American Southwest and farther afield, new terrain adds nuance to my visual vocabulary. Travel enriches my vision but doesn’t redefine my identity; it simply offers new ways to recognize the same quiet qualities I value at home.

My approach is unhurried and understated; natural light, honest color, and simple compositions that leave room to breathe. Whether I’m photographing landscapes, seascapes, or small details of the natural world, I’m looking for clarity rather than spectacle, moments that feel true to the place and the moment.

If that resonates, I invite you to explore the galleries and spend a bit of time with the work. I hope these images offer the same sense of stillness and attention that went into making them.
